COMPLETE DIGESTIVE ENZYME SUPPORT AND COMFORT - Mold-Free formula

Unlike many digestive enzymes, Digestion Synergy contains NO Aspergillus mold-sourced ingredients—(typically called "Plant Enzymes"). It is ideal for those sensitive to mold or with food sensitivities. Formulated instead with only truly plant and animal based ingredients, Opti-Digestaway contains full-spectrum digestive enzyme pancreatin (bovine source), supplying protease, lipase and amylase to support healthy digestion for proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Betaine HCl with Pepsin are included to help increase stomach acid and further assist in protein digestion. This formula also includes papain, an enzyme from papaya, and bromelain from pineapple. Fat-digesting Lipase is enhanced with the herbs Gentian and Barberry to improve digestive secretions, along with aloe vera extract, ginger root, and peppermint to soothe digestion.

Suggested Use

Recommended Use: Aids digestion.

Recommended Dose: Adults: Take 1 capsule twice daily immediately prior to the two largest meals of the day and 2 hours before or after taking other medications or health products. Use the smallest dose that provides efficacy. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond four weeks.

Cautions & Warnings: If you are taking an anticoagulant/ blood thinner or an anti-inflammatory, or are having surgery, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. If you have anemia, diabetes, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis, excess stomach acid, liver or kidney disease, a gallbladder or gastrointestinal tract disorder or intestinal spasms, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use (and consult a health care practitioner). Some people may experience headaches.

Contra-Indications: If you have allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato), consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Do not use if you have acute stomach irritation, inflammation, or gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer. If you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or pork proteins, do not use this product. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
