Prodigy A2 (Special Blend)

The Prodigy A2 in Special Blend plastic is a reliably overstable approach disc designed for players who want confident touch, clean release, and predictable fade on every shot. The A2 sits between the A1 and A3 in stability, offering a strong finish without being overly dumpy—making it one of Prodigy’s most versatile approach tools. In Special Blend, the disc gains a premium, tacky feel with a slightly softer grip and excellent durability, ideal for players who want both control and comfort.

Flight Profile — 4 / 4 / 0 / 3

• Speed 4: Fast enough for committed approach shots and short tee throws.

• Glide 4: Enough lift to push forward on a line before the fade kicks in.

• Turn 0: Holds true under forehand torque and confident backhand power.

• Fade 3: A strong, dependable finish you can count on every time.

The A2 flies straight with power before leaning into a predictable, controlled fade. It’s exceptionally torque-resistant, making it perfect for forehand approaches and hyzer lines that need to hit a landing zone without drifting.

Who Bags the Special Blend A2?

The A2 is great for intermediate and advanced players who want a versatile overstable approach disc that performs equally well on forehand and backhand lines.
