Prodigy A5 (500)

The Prodigy A5 in 500 plastic is a straight-to-neutral approach disc built for players who want clean control, dependable touch, and long-lasting premium durability. As one of the most versatile approach molds in Prodigy’s lineup, the A5 offers a gentle high-speed turn with a subtle, forward-moving fade—ideal for straight approaches, hyzer-flips, controlled turnovers, and smooth forehand touch shots. In 500 plastic, the A5 gains a semi-firm, premium feel with a sleek finish and excellent grip, providing consistent releases and reliable stability round after round.

Flight Profile — 3 / 4 / -1 / 1

• Speed 3: Easy to power down for pinpoint accuracy.

• Glide 4: Smooth carry that pushes straight or holds touchy angles.

• Turn -1: Natural flip-ups and gentle turn with clean form.

• Fade 1: Mild, predictable finish that stays on the intended line.

The 500 A5 is exceptionally workable—holding hyzer, flat, and anhyzer angles with ease. It’s stable enough to trust with torque, particularly on touch forehands, but neutral enough for backhand players to shape technical lines through the woods or into tight greens.
